What will my 1st appointment entail?

Your initial physiotherapy assessment and treatment could be from 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the complexity of your injury and will include a full assessment and treatment. Your physiotherapist will take a full medical history and ask questions related to your particular problem. Your physiotherapist will then perform a full physical examination. . It is usual for patients to be taught a little about the mechanism and causes of their problem so that they can understand the exercises they may need to carry out, and so they can help to prevent re-occurrence of their problem.

What must I bring with?

Bring any doctor’s notes, referrals, or relevant test results with you to your appointment, including xrays or MRI's. Shorts are provided.

Must I be referred?

No, you may make an appointment without a doctors referral.

Do you charge medical aid rates?

Yes.

Can I claim through my medial aid fund?

Yes. We submit your claim directly to your medical aid fund electronically. Should there be any shortfall in payment, the patient is liable for these charges.

What if I don't have medical aid?

You can pay with cash or credit/debit card.

Cancelled or Missed Appointments?

If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, contact our us immediately. Since appointments are in high demand, your prompt cancellation will give another patient the opportunity to access timely physiotherapy care.
Appointments that are not cancelled 2 hours prior to your scheduled appointment will be subject to a cancellation fee charged directly to the patient.
To reschedule or cancel your appointment, contact us at 041 - 373 6331.

When are you open?

Monday to Friday 07h30 - 17h00, with early and late appointments available on request.

Are there certain conditions you don't treat?

We do not provide therapy for specialized conditions such as strokes or neuro-developmental therapy (NDT).

Do you treat IOD, insurance or Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) claims?

Yes, but these are strictly cash payments only. Patients will receive a statement that they can then submit to their insurers for reimbursement.
